The contact owns a 2007 Nissan Murano. From out of nowhere, the contact noticed burn marks on the front and rear seats and tailgate. In addition, the ceiling inside the vehicle and glove compartment had burn marks. The vehicle was taken to West covina Nissan (205 N citrus St, West covina, ca 91791, (626) 732-1000), but the mechanic only wanted to repair the upholstery of the vehicle rather than the other affected areas. The vehicle was not diagnosed or repaired. The manufacturer was not made aware of the failure. The failure mileage was 160,000.
