- Summary
- Engine Control Module (ECM) Voluntary Emission Recall Campaign ***** Campaign Summary ***** Nissan is conducting a Voluntary Emissions Recall Campaign on 12,382 MY2018 NV200 vehicles identified in Service Comm to reprogram the Engine Control Module (ECM) with countermeasure software. Nissan has determined that the subject vehicles may be equipped with an improperly calibrated Engine Control Module (ECM). If not repaired, the On-Board Diagnostic (OBD) system may not properly detect a catalyst issue that could result in exhaust gas emissions exceeding standards. ***** What Dealers Should Do**** 1. Verify campaign applicability using Service Comm or DBS National Service History â?? Open Campaign I.D. PM947. 2. Dealers should use NTB20-039 to correct any vehicles subject to this campaign. 3. Once repaired, dealers should submit the claim, using the claims coding provided, and release the vehicle.
