When I purchased this vehicle, apparently it was the first time this engine was put into a Nissan. This is according to Nissan. I have been in the business for over 40 years. I did my oil changes every 4 - 5 thousand miles as specified full synthetic. I noticed one day it was very slow in taking off and losing power and it started smoking. I immediately knew there was something wrong. I took it to Nissan and they told me that I have a bad engine due to no oil changes. This is where they go wrong. Always blaming the customer when they don't have an answer.
Being in the business so long, I know about oil changes and how it is important to the vehicle's engine. I am pretty sure they won't honor my extended warranty because that's what these companies do. They are in the business of not helping when you are insured if something should occur. If anyone out there has a similar problem with this type of Nissan, please help or contact me at elsamilagrosgarcia@yahoo.com - I would appreciate it. I will go to the top and get this issue resolved with Nissan. I never believe in extended warranties because all they do is take customers money and don't pay up.
