The contact owns a 2006 Nissan Titan. The contact stated that there is a bracket that holds the rear leaf spring. The leaf spring appears to be faulty and not strong enough to support the vehicle. The first bracket failed and the contact bought another one. The dealer stated that there was no recall and no assistance could be provided since the vehicle was not under warranty. Nissan redesigned a new part, which the contact stated was a much better design than the original. The rear driver's side bracket was already repaired. Currently, the passenger side bracket needs to be repaired. The failure and current mileages were 65,000. Updated 6/8/09 updated 06/11/09.
