I bought this Nissan 2008 Titan Truck and all the gauges kept going on and off and 4x4 kept going on and off - everything on the dash. The Nissan dealer said it was a wire harness to the motor and charged me 4000.00 - nope. 2 weeks later, the same thing - everything went crazy. So now I pay a loan payment on a truck and a loan payment for 4000.00 to fix something it does not need...
I find out it needs a new engine control modulator (ecm). Like I said, all the gauges go nuts and the truck slams into gear as it's happening. It also makes the coolant fan come on when all the lights are flashing. I just can't take any more. I am in the hole with this truck and can't let it go back - it will ruin my credit. I blame Nissan for telling me it was something it was not. We also own a Nissan Murano, one of the best damn running cars we've owned.
Yes, that's why I got the Titan, because the Murano goes so well.
