Takata inflators have not been replaced after 6 months from receiving the notification. I have a four passenger vehicle that I am only allowed to use 3 seats safely. The fix for the air bag inflator has taken too long and other compensation needs to be provided so that I can get full utilization from my vehicle. I have not had an incident but I can no longer continue not using my front passenger seat.

Takata recall. Was notified in July 2015 by letter of airbag recall in my Pontiac Vibe and that I would receive notice when the parts would be available in a reasonable amount of time. I would like to have this corrected so that I may have a front seat passenger ride in the vehicle without fear of airbag injury or death. It is preventing me from utilizing my vehicle for its intended purposes. To date, I have not received any communication about parts availability.

Takata inflators-had to rent a vehicle since not safe for passenger. GM is paying for the car, but I had to buy collision insurance since all I have is liability. Cost is $14 per day and I feel GM should cover this cost too. Still no parts for replacement and I cannot afford ins. Cost. Isn't GM responsible for all asociated costs. This has been on-going since may, 2015, yet I only got the rental on Nov. 25th. The dealer, jerry smith Chevy, has been very accomodating, but they say that GM will not cover insurance. Can you help?
