traveling at 70 mph in summer ambient temp around 105 degrees F out of no where all of the sudden motor starts to cut off, then the dash goes crazy and about every warning light on the dash lights up.. cars dies and Im stranded I call for help.. while waiting I disconnect the battery and wait 10 min i reconnect it wait 20 more minutes and the car starts... now the car is constantly running in limp mode. and will do this occasionally.. after research its unanimous this must be caused by a factory defective ABS module that needs to be recalled by general motors.. the same motor is in the 06-11 camry 2.4 5 speed auto and they have the excact problem. I have orderd new o2 sensors (denso oem) 4 new spark plugs (denso oem) I am installing new oem denso maf sensor.. cleaning throttle body, replacing fuel relay. ecm relay new battery for optimum current.. wheel speed harness. and wheel speed sensors cleanded I am considering replacing fuel pump and injectors cleaning out with fuel injection cleaner.. also there is no throttle position sensor on these so you have to replace cam positioning sensor and crankshaft postion sensor.. what alot of money to find out it is a defective item that should be recalled...

the car now shifts roughly due to a messed up ecu from a messed up ABS module.. the sensors in these cars are not like a light bulb they loose there continuity just like a relay does and they stop sending the whole message to the computer like there wearing out from heat.. Denso must make a fortune on sensors what a bunch of crooks!!! U.S. lawsuit should make all toyota enginge with this ABS module to be replaced free of charge
