Truck has a rapid steady ticking / pinging sound that is getting progressively worse in my 2012 Dodge Ram 1500 Outdoorsman's 5.7L Hemi engine. It has 195,000 empty haul freeway miles. The problem was first noticed approximately 50,000 miles ago.

ticking right side of engine, sounds like header leak ticking right side of engine, sounds like header leak

I have a 2012 Dodge Ram 1500 Reg. Cab Sport Hemi. Has a terrible loud ticking coming from right header area.. Ticking is all over YouTube known as the Hemi-tick.. Some say dealer will replace headers and bolts both sides and will be the fix using the stronger headers and upgraded bolts.
