I can't believe how much I spent on buying my Ram and the radio blows after 4 yrs and its not covered. I have heard this is an ongoing problem and think it's ridiculous. Not to mention having to wait 3 weeks for an appointment. Last Dodge I will ever own. $670 plus for a radio.

We bought this vehicle from Car Max a year and a half ago. The truck has been good. The radio which is a UConnect has gone out a couple of times, fixed itself and came back on. This time, I took it to the dealership to reset it and I was informed that the radio is completely blown and needs to replace. The radio is $770 and replacing it is $191. According to YouTube, taking this radio out and replacing it can take less than a hour. I am not happy with this dealership trying to snowball me since I am a woman. They spoke to my husband and we have decided to find an after market radio that we can get USB hookup, compass, BlueTooth and Sirius XM. Any suggestions will be great. I looked online at UConnect, but of course, they want us to go to the stupid dealership........burnnnnnnn...........
