I purchased the Longhorn in 2013. Paid what I was led to believe was extended warranty on all aspects of the truck, including paint. The paint is now blistering and peeling from the hood, box, and around bumper sensors. Ram refuses to warranty the poor paint adhesion. They wont even discuss the matter. So my problem is you pay 60,000+ for a vehicle and then pay for a misrepresented extended warranty and you are left with a rust bucket that the manufacturer does not stand behind. The local dealer is a 1000 times worse to deal with. !!!!!!

Paint bubbled by fender after only a year of owning the truck. Dodge is going to replace the bed side and repaint. Also it will take a few days, but they won't give me a vehicle loaner. They SUCK!

When I purchased my truck. I had only seen one in a email. It's a new black express edition. No chrome badging at all on truck and it has black wheel as part of package. I called dealer asking if they have one and of course did. I called my finance company and worked things out. Called dealer back told them to get paperwork ready and I would be there a 6 o'clock to pick up truck. When I got there filled out papers and took my truck home. When I got home me and my wife was looking at truck when I noticed it didn't look right. I pulled up my email and looked at pic and features I noticed the problem. It had chrome badging on passenger side of truck and not on driver. The tailgate badging was wrong. And the hood was not right. Next day I called dealer and set up time to take truck back. When I took it back they assured me the hood was right. Apologize do for badging and assured me they can fix badging.. well they did. And while buffing a black truck they burnt paint on front fender and rear door. They fixed fender but just tried polishing rear door. Polish didn't hold up and my door looks awful on my truck after u wash it now.

Bought new 2013 Dodge 1500 from local dealer. Within eleven days noticed 1/4 inch chunk of paint missing behind mud flaps. Rock kicked up and chipped. No problem but eleven day old truck and significant rust around area was disturbing. Talked to dealer they said that they would all rust that quick with paint damage. Never had this problem out of any other vehicle owned. 2 days later washing truck paint came off below passenger door two areas about and inch long. Also rusted behind paint. Now it is an issue. In process of seeing what they do. 35000 dollar truck rusting under paint.
