- Summary
- Diesel Exhaust Fluid (DEF) Injector Inspection This bulletin involves pressurizing the Diesel Exhaust Fluid (DEF) injector line to check for a leak during New Vehicle Preparation. The DEF system may not become functional until the vehicle has been driven for 20 miles at one time. This Bulletin will give the steps necessary to ensure DEF system is not leaking. A very small number of vehicles may experience a DEF fluid leak under the vehicle. Upon further investigation the Technician may find that the DEF injector is broke.
