went to dealer for service interval told them of rusting rear bumper. Dealer said rust is customers problem and i can contact DSM CHRYSLER ,which i will. Would not recommend buying any Chrysler Fiat product if this is their response to a new truck's chrome bumper rusting. also not pleased with the extended warranty or maintenance service . my spouse's Ford has better coverage and service , recommend Ford which i will buy or chev next time never MOPAR . THANKS ram it

paint flaking, rusting on the pinch weld

Hello my name is Michael Simon and I purchased a 2015 Ram 1500 on January 30th 2015 from Fields Chrysler Sanford Fl. . I was washing my truck on April 11th when I noticed the bottom pinch weld below the passenger door is rusting and paint flaking off. I immediately called Fields service department to find out how to resolve the problem. I was told to bring the truck in Monday morning. Monday morning April 13th I brought the truck in and service adviser 7277 wrote a service order, said he would send pictures to Chrysler and get back with me. He called be back around April 22 and informed me Fields would not repair nor would Chrysler until it becomes a "rust hole" On a side note service writer is very rude and told me "good luck and do what you gotta do" very unprofessional to say the least. I went back out to Fields on April 23rd to photo and video more than 10 other trucks with the same issue. I have since started a web campaign to raise awareness of this manufacturing defect. I have several pictures and videos of other new Ram trucks with the same issue, some not as bad and some worse. I have started uploading them to www.ramtruckproblems.com (my website) This matter could have been put to rest before It came to this. I now have several hours of my time and expenses for time, web hosting, travel etc. and I expect to incur more during this campaign. Fields service department is treating this like its no big deal. As we all know rust spreads quickly and the pinch weld is one of the worst places to have it. I feel consumers should be aware of this before they spend 30k to 50k of there hard earned money. I am not looking for any freebies, discounts or I am sorry's. I will spend every spare moment I get and put as much money as I need to, to render results. Photos attached and can also be seen at www.ramtruckproblems.com I will moderate the site and update frequently.

Thanks for reading. (if you could make through all that)
