My 2016 RAM 1500 has been experiencing intermittent electric power steering. system failures, causing vehicle control failure when I try to turn left or right. When I disconnect the car battery, the electric power steering system temporarily works again, but then shows the same symptoms again. Vehicle will lose all power steering without warning, and in a pattern that I cannot predict. It then went away after turning the truck off, however it is continuously happening at random moments now and it-??s to the point I-??ve had to park the truck because of the liability. I have not had it inspected by a shop yet, but will have it done in the near future.
