My truck goes in (12/11/19) to the dealer who told me the last time there was nothing wrong. This time I have the print out from the Manual telling them how the auto climate control should work. I will update you all when I find out more.

Dealer says heater is supposed to work like this. Manual says it’s not supposed to work like this. Ram needs to fix the problem!!!

Update from Feb 26, 2020: Truck goes in tomorrow for repair number 7. Last time they had replaced heat/ac controller and blower motor and wheel. Nothing changed, still having same issue. FCA corporate is now involved.

Each time I start the truck with the auto setting on, the truck blows hard and with cold air. Originally took this complaint back to the dealer in early March when the outside temperature was -30°C and each time I started the truck it was blowing cold air. Once again the dealer looked at it again and told me that it was part of the new HVAC system in the truck and that is the way it is intended to be. My 2013 ram 1500 was fantastic. When driving in the cold, the truck never started blowing air until the temperature was up to the Preset temperature on the dash. If this is the way the new 2019 rams are designed it’s a poor upgrade and defeats the purpose of auto climate control. Is anyone else having this issue? Has there been any solutions to fixing this?

Update from Jul 31, 2019: I’m certainly not impressed with my local dealer or maybe the new ram. Received the truck back the next day and wAs told this is how the cooling/heating system works on the new ram’s and it’s operating normal. If anyone else finds a solution or repair please post

Update from Aug 17, 2019: Dealer told me this was normal operation on the new ram
