2019 Laramie 1500--I started having problems with 12" radio --First had radio freezing up with no sound. Then in March my Navigation and wifi hotspot stopped working---called dealer to make appointment had to wait 3 months to get truck to Dealer (that was the earliest appointment) brought truck in 1st week of May and Service Dept said Radio no good and they needed to order new one --radio took about 1-2 weeks to come in and dropped truck off and dealer had it about 1 week( no loaner provided) --picked it up tried navigation at dealer it worked and drove it home the next day tried to sync contacts with no avail and wi fi hot spot worked but only picked up my routing numbers and not phone name as the first radio had and none of safety features worked including sos button and called sirius xm Guardian and said satellite could not locate truck.

Called dealer back told him Radio is no good -that brought it in again and tech deemed it no good again-This time they gave me a loaner from hertz. Left truck with dealer as they waited for new radio to come in-- I believe they had truck 2-3 weeks again put another new radio again and everything worked this time.

Drove it a couple days truck broke down at train station waited for flatbed to pick me up but dealer was closed by time flatbed arrived dealer and had delivered to my driveway. Next morning had it towed again to dealer they had fixed it saying one cell of battery drained it-- they replaced battery and everything was working again. The next morning the screen went black with truck dead again. This time had it jumped from AAA truck started and brought to dealer on 8/1 ( another loaner) and they did diagnostics on truck and it went black screen on tech-- so now they need to part from dodge to check electrical( why they don't have this part in dealer I'm shaking my head) all this time :

be paying note + xm radio+wifi hotspot + sirius xm Guardian

only reason didn't suspend because would lose promotional price and thought truck wouldn't take this long

The Uconnect 12" screen is blank. I cannot change anything it controls including the HVAC, radio, navigation, phone connections, heated steering wheel or seats, and a HOST of other controls. It is an intermittent problem. It may not work for a few days and then it comes back on.

After reading that many others have experienced the same problem and how much it cost to fix, I was even more upset. One friend who had the same problem, paid to have the unit replaced only to have it happen again on the replacement.

I took it to the dealer in Asheville, North Carolina. They said I would need an appointment to have it looked at. They sent me inside to the "scheduling" department and the next available appointment was 30 days away!!

There are 3 reasons I pick this truck (over Tundra 1794), push button start, interior and 12’ head unit screen. All equally important. Push button and screen were not available for Toyota. I’m a disabled veteran and I truly need things to go as easy/simply as possible (another reason for the pick of my 1st Ram (Dodge) ever. Brand new with 20miles on it. So the last thing I expected is electrical radio failure. I say failure because every minute that f*ng radio shuts down only to take a minute to reboot just to shutdown. This circle continues for as long as you drive. Even if you’re backing up. The rear view camera shuts down. Hands free shuts down. You have NO ACCESS TO ANY CONTROLS because they’re ALL CONTROLLED THROUGH THE SCREEN. WTF!!! I’ve been to the shop 3x for the same thing. I did not get a $60,000 truck to sit in my driveway and the shop yet still be required to pay the monthly note. Answers are required immediately!!!

Since buying the truck, it's a crap shoot as to whether or not the backup camera will work. Have been to Auto nation multiple times, and am constantly told it's a UConnect issue, and I just need to be patient and wait for an appropriate software update. Every time that screen goes blue or black, I feel like I just threw away a ton of money.

Rear camera screen goes blue with green lines across, at the same time the audio system stops working. Took it to the dealer and I was told RAM doesn't have a fix for this problem yet. Going on 8 month and this problem continues at least once a week.
