During cold starts, it sounds like the oil is not reaching the valves for too long. It does not happen all the time, but it's getting too often after 24 months.

1500 Bighorn 3.6L V6

Same complain here, heard ticking noise in engine. Dealer fix the problem they replaced passenger camshaft, lifter. I’m glad it’s still under warranty otherwise it will cost me 2-3k for repair.

I just read all the complaints here same problem I hope Chrysler Dodge resolve the problem otherwise some of there customers will shift to other brand.

1500 Laramie 4x4 5.7L

  • Automatic transmission
  • 1,200 miles

20 mins after start up, there is a loud clacking noise coming from the engine or transmission. Sounds like I own a diesel. I have had this truck to the dealer over 10 times since purchase for this and other various problems and their answer is always that they cannot reproduce. I will continue to send video to prove problem, but I will never buy another Dodge product again
