Vehicle emission recall # S47 was applied and my Dodge still does not pass smog for California. Dodge is requiring that I drive the vehicle, however, this is the 9th time it will not pass smog and my ca registration is expired and I cannot legally drive the vehicle until it passes smog. I want Dodge to replace or repair the vehicle because it is not drivable. However, Dodge is telling me to drive the vehicle despite the fact that it is not registered.

Had to replace the turbo actuator for $3549.18. This is a 2013 with ongoing recalls. I should not have to pay for a large ticket item with a truck this age.

Dead pedal issue when accelerating then momentarily letting of throttle and reapplying throttle, there's a 2-3 second delayed response. I've taken it to the dealer and they don't seem to know what's causing it.

Noticed a faint scent of diesel coming from the truck, yet did not see any leaks on the pavement. Drove truck approximately 25 miles and noticed leaking fuel on the pavement. Looked from under the engine compartment and from the hood area at the fuel filter area - starts the engine and diesel fuel shot out like a sprinkler system.

From a stop, the vehicle will not accelerate properly. When depressing the gas pedal it takes a few seconds for the vehicle to respond. When letting off the gas, the throttle does not respond for about two seconds. There is a severe response in the throttle from when depressing the gas pedal to when the vehicle actually starts to move. This has almost caused several accidents because I am trying to switch lanes or accelerate and it just sits there for a few seconds. This is going to kill people especially ones unfamiliar with driving the vehicle. This needs to be addressed immediately. This same problem exists in all Ram 2500 and 3500 with the turbo diesel motor from years 2011-2016. As I have driven the vehicle for the past three years it has become increasingly worse. The delay in throttle response has gotten longer.

My 2013 Ram 2500 has a cracked fuel filler neck due to a poor design, being a weak plastic material. The plastic neck has cracked by the fuel pump nozzle seating down on it and plastic from the neck has gone down into my fuel tank contaminating the fuel system causing a possible fuel system clog and shut down of the vehicle. Also concerned that fuel may possibly drip down the exterior of the fuel neck assembly. The indecent occurred while filling at a fuel station, vehicle was stopped not running. Inserted fuel pump nozzle, top off filler neck broke and fell into fuel tank. Michelle a supervisor from Ram corporate has denied the warranty repair even though my truck is still under warranty, Ram Chrysler group has provided me with a case number will provide if needed.

Recall: P65/NHTSA 14V-635 : diesel fuel heater electrical connector: Received first recall in December, 2014. Took truck to dealer (haddad Dodge, bakersfield, ca) and was told that they did not have the parts and would call when parts were available. As of 5-12-15, no call and no repair. Received another recall notice in mail 5-10-15 for same safety issue. This is listed as an "important safety recall". if this is so important, then why has 5 months gone by with no parts and now a second notice sent. It would appear that Dodge corporate/dealers should be held accountable for getting the parts and making the repair. I consider 5+ months as an unreasonable amount of time. Otherwise, take the red label off the front of the notice and remove the word "important" from the label.

Vehicle exhibits an accelerator 'dead pedal' problem. When pulling out into traffic, or slowing then accelerating, if one lifts the throttle then reapplies the throttle quickly, the truck does not respond for several seconds. In heavy traffic, this can create (and has created) a potentially dangerous situation. This has been an ongoing problem that the dealer has been unable to resolve.

P65 recall on this vehicle - the notice indicates that parts are not available, but potential adverse affects include fire. We have not been driving it as a result, and Chrysler is unable to give us a date for when parts will be available. While they did say that no adverse events of any kind have occurred this obviously does not satisfy my family.
