The contact engaged the parking brakes to stop the vehicle. The vehicle was towed to the dealer; however, the failure was not duplicated. The vehicle was not diagnosed or repaired. The contact stated that the failure persisted, and several unknown warning lights were illuminated. The manufacturer was made aware of the failure and a case was opened. The approximate failure mileage was 44,000.
The contact owns 2022 Ram 2500. The contact received notification of NHTSA Campaign Number: 22V140000 (Service Brakes, Hydraulic, Electronic Stability Control), 22V835000 (Power Train), 22V904000 (Structure), and 23V060000 (Electrical System) however, the parts to do the recall repairs were unavailable. The contact stated that the manufacturer had exceeded a reasonable amount of time for the recall repair. The manufacturer was made aware of the issue. The contact had not experienced a failure. Parts distribution disconnect. The contacted both recalls were completed on June 13th, 2023, but feels the length of time to repair the recall was excessive.
