The rear passenger side seatbelt is locked. Our son was exiting the car ( and told us he couldn-??t get his belt to retract. We also tried to get the belt to retract but were unable to do so. The truck has not been in any accidents, no visible wear on the seatbelt. We typically use the rear seatbelts for our children but now we cannot ride with 5 passengers safely in the vehicle. We took the truck to a RAM dealership in Hendersonville, NC who told us we would need to pay nearly $600 to repair the belt. With the truck only being a few years old and no collisions or incidents, it seems like a manufacturer defect.

The vehicle was taken to a local dealer where it was diagnosed, and the contact was informed that the seat belt needed to be replaced. The vehicle was not repaired.
