I bought two Ram 5500 in 2018, both of these vehicles had total engine failure with less than 75000.
The 2018 model 5500 was sold as sone as the new engine was put in at a loss of about $30,000. The 2017 Ram 5500 had the engine replaced it lasted about 8000 miles before total engine failure. Both vehicles did the same thing just before failure. Everything running in the green, no engine noise, everything normal then several warning lights light up oil pressure, battery, coolant lights and others.
Before able to get off road to check for problems engine stalls, coast to side of the road open hood and engine oil is everywhere. This happened to three different engines. There were no warranty repairs made, I paid for all three engines. The money lost on repairs and lost jobs put us out of business.
