ProMaster 2500 V6

Purchased promaster van at SOUTH COUNTY DODGE DEALER IN ST. LOUIS MO. Brakes squeal at 800 miles. Took it to dealer they changed front brake pads and rotor on 1/16/15. The service dept adviser flat out lied to me about replacing the pads and rotors all the way around. He wanted to argue but when he finally would look at the repair sheet he found they only repaired the front brakes. So I expected them replace the back they wouldn't the service adviser came back to me and said he found out from he service dept. Manager at SOUTH COUNTY DODGE DEALER IN ST. LOUIS MO. said that Ram was aware of the problem of brake squeal and they don't have a fix yet.

He then told me they were not supposed to have changed the pads or rotors to start with. I have been up there 2 more times since then and all they do is blow me off by saying Ram still don't have fix yet. Now I have 15,000 plus miles and not sure what is going to happen. They won't even offer to replace the pads. They probably couldn't find them anyway for all the brake dust covering the rims. In my opinion this is the worst dealership I have ever dealt with ( SOUTH COUNTY DODGE--CHRYSLER--JEEP --RAM DEALER ) I TOLD MY SALESMAN THANK GOD FOR FIRST TIME CAR BUYERS.. OF COURSE HE GAVE ME NO RESPONSE

ProMaster 2500 3.6L V6

  • Automatic transmission
  • 10 miles

I bought this stand up van new with 10 miles on it and the breaks squeaked from day 1. I have had it in the dealership over 6 times and they say there is nothing that can be done at this time and Detroit is aware of the problem. I am glad Detroit is aware of the problem but its been almost two years and they have done nothing about it to fix it. I am very frustrated about this problem with no resolution to this problem. I would not have bought it had I known about this. It is very embarrassing to use the van with this irritating problem.

ProMaster 2500 High Roof 159WB 3.6L V6

  • Automatic transmission
  • 1,900 miles

This started about 500 miles, The local Dodge dealer replaced the pads, noise was back in two days. Called dealer back, and service manager is going to check into it and get back to me. Our company has the same year and model on a second van and now the brakes are making noise at 500 miles too.
