The contact owns a 2017 Ram Promaster city. The contact stated while driving 35 mph, the vehicle shut-off with the tag light warning light illuminated. After waiting for several minutes, the vehicle restarted. The vehicle was taken to champion Chrysler Dodge Jeep Ram (11477 northpark dr, gulfport, ms 39503, (228) 896-1515) but was not diagnosed. The vehicle was not repaired. Upon investigation, the contact associated the failure with NHTSA campaign number: 16V202000 (power train, electrical system) however, the VIN was not included. The manufacturer was not informed of the failure. The failure mileage was approximately 57,787.
Newer truck and engine just quit as I was driving along. Lose power steering and power brakes. Luckily on a back road and not going fast. Couldn't get it to restart for 45 minutes, I'm not even sure how I got it to restart but I did. Called dealer where I bought it and they said they couldn't even look at it for 3 weeks?..its a work truck, how I make a living...oy vey.. I have it a local shop now.

The manufacturer was not contacted. The approximate failure mileage was 16.
