CarComplaints.com Notes: Is burning a quart of oil every 1,000 miles normal? Depends on who you ask. While Subaru says it's within "normal specifications," owners wonder why they need to top off their oil reservoir 4 times between every 5,000 mile oil change.

I've been having this problem for 1-2 years where the traction control/abs/etc lights come on randomly, and I took it to Subaru and they couldn't duplicate the problem. Now there is a recall since April 2019 and I've gotten NO notification of a recall even though I've looked up my car and it's on the list along with a million + other cars. I'm waiting for Subaru to notify me so I can get this damn thing fixed. I'm not going to go down there again and be told that they can't replicate the problem, and I want to have the recall notice in hand before I go there.
