It was present for quite a while before reporting it to Subaru dealer. Says throttle body gets dirty and needs to be cleaned out thoroughly to the tune of $500+. Started using non-ethanol gas and it does better, but hasn't gone away. I've gotten used to it (hope my luck doesn't run out too soon..). Mostly as I approach and slow down for traffic signal, almost stalls and continues running at usual RPM.
88,700 mi on car now; I don't like the situation, but I don't know what I can do about it..!
How about you, Subaru, I seen this written up quite a few times. I've told the dealer, though I don't know if he reports it to the parent company, though he admits he knows of the problem.
