Just over 3 years new, and with only about $20,000 miles, the touchscreen started to develop bubbling under the screen which shortly thereafter caused the touchscreen to freeze and go haywire. No Bluetooth Phone, No back-up camera, No navigation, No radio, etc.
Despite Subaru knowing of this delamination manufacturing defect, class-action lawsuits, and multiple service bulletins, Subaru has unfairly refused to cover the cost of approximately $1,500 for a new unit which is on backorder for several months.
This is in addition to the parasitic battery drain issues plaguing its vehicles over the past few years due to a faulty ECM Unit.
