a/c cuts out after car runs for 20 minutes and emits musty smell that fogs up interior glass. doesn't appear to be heater core because running the fan on high with a/c off and outside air coming in defogs lamely. interior air filters were changed twice during the 70,000 miles before this happened and were not very dirty when this problem occurred. this problem presents an extremely dangerous driving condition during rain and cold weather as only the windshield defogs while everything else fogs up. i tried running the climate control self diagnose but doesn't not work properly either. i'm sure this will be an expensive item to fix. i can't afford extra expenses since losing my job to 911 so i'm screwed until i can afford it. i thought i was getting a car that was a little bit better quality by getting the ll bean edition, i was wrong. this car also has had brake problems since new that was never fixed properly in the seven times it was at the dealer for this problem. front passenger door leaks air. rear moon roof interior cover jams. muffler makes buzzing noise when reversing. engine hesitates starting out, runs on premium fuel only. transmission has attention deficit disorder. very disappointed in Subaru quality. wouldn't buy another one.
