I recently bought this car 6 months back as a second owner. During winter, i had a problem of the car starting and it happened 3 times. Literally the issue was when I depressed the brake pedal and do start the car using push start button, it didn't start, and when I again depressed the brake pedal, it didn't depress at all and it is totally stuck. I couldn't start the car, but there was dashboard light on and I heard some tick tick sounds and it finally died. The same issue happened three times and I had to do a jump start a couple of times.

I took my car to Autozone and they checked battery, alternator and confirmed everything looks great. Third time, i just depressed the brake pedal more than 2 times and the brake pedal was totally stuck (without starting car) and after that when I tried to start car, it didn't start. I called the dealer and as per the dealer instructions, if I jump start it and take it to dealer, they couldn't diagnose the problem.

I explained the problem to them, but they didn't address the actual problem that may be something hidden. I am afraid that if I tried the same thing like depressing the brake pedal 2 or 3 times (without starting car using the push button), the brake pedal may stuck. I may have the same problem.

Did anyone else have this issue? Please let me know.
