Outback

  • Automatic transmission

We have had this vehicle 15 months in which time the battery has died 4 times.

Battery has been checked and is supposed to be okay. Now, we have to take it to our dealership which is 1 hour away, and have no service hours, on Saturday to have it checked again.

problem #1

Dec 142016

Outback 4 cyl

  • Automatic transmission
  • 8,000 miles

Problem: Won't start. Not the battery. It tries to start, but won't turn over.

Twice I have called for a tow truck, then in desperation tried again, and it started. Took it to the dealer/shop, who could find nothing wrong. It has happened again since then as well. Trying to hang in because I love the car, when it will start, but I am a widow who drives alone long distances to visit friends and family. I need to feel secure that I drive a vehicle which will reliably start. Could it be a lemon???
