The contact owns a 2013 Subaru Xv crosstrek. The contact received notification of NHTSA campaign numbers: 19V149000 (exterior lighting) and 18V772000 (engine and engine cooling). The contact stated that the manufacturer exceeded a reasonable amount of time for the recall repair. Ira Subaru (97 andover St, danvers, MA 01923, (978) 739-8850) was contacted and confirmed that the parts were not available for the recall remedy. The manufacturer was made aware of the issue and was not able to confirm when the parts were to become available. The contact had not experienced a failure. Parts distribution disconnect.
When I start my car or randomly while I am driving the warning lights for my automatic braking system, traction control, and hill assist turn on. When this happens, my gear shifter locks up and when I press the brakes the rear lights don't illuminate while these warning lights are active. I have an automatic transmission. The warning lights activate randomly, whether I'm stationary or in motions, regardless of setting.
