Car was parked in the garage. At 3 a.m. the horn started beeping, all the lights were blinking, and the doors locked and unlocked on their own. Tried to start the car, thinking that might reset everything, but all it did was die immediately after starting. Finally disconnected the battery. I will have it towed to the dealer Tuesday after the Memorial Day Holiday.

Extremely annoying, scary problem. Is this the end for our 2014 XV Crosstrek?

Update from Nov 5, 2021: Local Subaru dealer repaired the car. It took a week because they had trouble identifying the problem. The fix was a new body integrity module. I no longer have confidence in the dealership and I told them so. They are the experts and someone should have identified the source of the problem right away.
