CarComplaints.com Notes: The Camry Hybrid's first year is a mixed bag of brake actuators failing and power issues. The hybrid version even shares the same excessive oil consumption as its non-hybrid counterpart. And it hardly gets enough fuel efficiency gains to warrant the extra costs up-front or during repairs.

Toyota seemed to get their act together with later model years, so if you're looking for a used Camry Hybrid I suggest looking there.

Visor came loose and it became difficult to drive. I needed to pull it off to avoid an accident.

My visor just took a dump on me too. The visor was hitting me at eye level and when I called the dealership they said they didn't know how many appointments it would take for them to find the problem and repair it so I found a youtube video on how to take it off and ordered a new one online. I love the car and I haven't ever had any serious problems to where I was stranded or in an accident. It is just annoying and made it impossible to see.

The visor broke in 2007 Toyota Camry when this was hardly used. I had this replaced. now because of your website, I see there is recall and the dealer should have covered this. Yet another issue that Toyota doesn't want to deal with.
