differential bearing worn

Side bearings started to go bad at around 130,000. It makes like rumble noise at 45mph and 55mph. It could've been cause by moisture in the differential or by the fluid never been changed. When I changed the fluid it sure looked terrible and after that the noise started to be noticeable. This according to the mechanic is not a common problem at low miles. This problem usually happens after 200k miles. The common issue is the pinion gear needs to re-torqued.
