This 2013 Toyota Prius Four Hybrid was involved in a head on collision and the air bags did not deploy. While the vehicle was sitting at a complete stop at a red light, a Toyota Tacoma slammed head on into our Prius. The driver and passenger were injured and were transported by ambulance to a trauma hospital. The 2013 Toyota Prius Four Hybrid was disabled, had to be towed away and deemed a total loss. This 2013 Toyota Prius had been in a local Toyota dealership a week prior to the accident, and the owner was told that there were not any open recalls on the vehicle. Toyota needs to act on this to prevent any potential injuries.
