My 2020 Prius Prime has about 57,000 miles and I am getting 93 MPG, but the passenger side front proximity ultrasonic sensor started going off for a second or two every time I accelerated from a stop with dash light and beep coming on. Had the Toyota of Bowie MD dealer look at it today and they charged me $200 to look at it and gave an estimate of $1,050.00 to replace the bad ultrasonic sensor and retainer. I denied the repair. Got in my car to drive it home and now it is FAR worse and goes off for tens of seconds while you are stopped and does not go off until you accelerate. Make no difference if anything is near the car or not. It is now REALLY annoying. Anyone else have this happen yet? No longer in love with my Prius Prime 2020.
