After smelling gas when out and a little trouble starting car, my husband found a stream of gas flowing from top of tank near left rear panel when engine was on. Fire dept. had to clear for tow. Mechanic found after dropping tank that rodents had built nest on top of tank and chewed thru line and wires. Part cost is $531, labor will be 5+ hours.
HUGE safety concern for fire. Is it related to soy based wire coverings?
