I own a 2001 Toyota Tacoma 4X4 with 83,000 miles. I have taken very good care of it and have been very happy with it except for the issue of severe frame rust. The body looks great, however the frame rust is just about all over the underside of the vehicle and includes the brake system, frame, drive train, etc. I have many older vehicles that have seen similar wear and use that have no frame rust whatsoever. This seems to be a common problem with the recently manufactured Tacoma and I believe it is due to a manufacturing flaw.
