Steering column problems cause Honda to recall Civic vehicles made during four days in October.

— Honda is recalling specific model year 2012 Civic vehicles that were manufactured from October 26, 2012, through October 30, 2012.  The recall involves only 157 vehicles.

Honda says the steering column assembly is wrong and could increase the chance of an injury in an accident.

What To Do If Your Civic Has Been Recalled

The recall should begin on December 4, 2012.  Honda will notify owners and dealers will inspect and if needed, replace the steering column. You can contact Honda at 800-999-1009 and refer to recall number number S69.
