This is the 2ND time for the same brake problem on the passenger rear brake. Ford should have installed DISK brakes instead of drum. Although the Escape is two years old now, I still have problems with the same brake.

Traveling in Ida Grove IA McCormicks Ford, problem noise in Brake drum rear left. Took it to this Ford dealer to have oil changed and have them check this brake problem. was told that they changed the oil and checked the brakes and they could not find anything wrong with the brakes and they charged me $25.00 for checking the brakes? I paid but I think that Ford should check a car under wty. If a customer hears something that sounds bad with the brakes. Mechanic said he found nothing Wrong with the brakes? asked them to put on the service order that the Trans was slipping 4th to 5th gear they did not.

I would not go back to this dealer for any work. Iam glade I was just passing through. Iam Going to take this bill into the Ford dealer in Wilmington NC. and see what they say? Not a happy Ford Owner.
