2016 Ford Escape purchased at Sarat Ford in Agawam, MA on 06/02/16. 9/16/16- vehicle sat unused from 8/24/16-9/16/16-in my driveway on 9/16/16 went to drive and it would not start- dead battery- called Roadside assistance 11:30 ish am- service received 2:30ish pm- Service guy said he has had a lot of new Ford vehicles with dead batteries lately. If this battery is not holding a charge in the dead of summer- I have no hopes for it during a New England winter- Ford's are just not built for New England apparently. Of course, I am now convinced Ford's are not built for anywhere.
