Car's door locks randomly unlock and lock - with exterior lights flashing. This happens while driving and while the car is parked in our driveway (no keys in ignition, no key fob near the vehicle). The frequency has an increased. An independent auto electrician noticed this would happen when he parked his Ford Explorer next to our vehicle and he believes this is causing the battery to fail so quickly.

The problem began shortly after we purchased the vehicle new, 3+ years ago. We have taken the vehicle to 2 different Ford dealer's service departments. They cannot reproduce the problem. Yesterday, it happened 3 times while I waited in the Ford dealer's service bay waiting for a service rep for check-in. The frequency of the unwanted door locking/unlocking has increased this year. We have 2 neighbors with Ford F150s parked across the street from us and when those vehicles are home, we see more frequent unwanted door locking/unlocking on our vehicle.

Has this happened to anyone else? The Ford dealers all say they have never seen this before...
