After waiting 6 weeks for Ford dealer, to replace my short block on my 2018 Escape with 24,000 miles on it. I was checking air pressure in tires, when I went to check the spare I noticed an inch of water in the tire well. I don't know how the rain water is getting into the car, this issue should still be covered under the warranty but I would like to have an idea where water is getting in before I contact dealer to make appointment. I bought the car used with 19,700 miles on it from a non Ford dealer and was told it was a rental. I have to take car to local Ford dealer for any warranty work and I must say I feel as if my car is put on the back burner because it was not purchased there, but that's a totally different story. I am very disappointed with Ford at this point, and feel as if the car that I owe six years of payments on is a total bust. Between a new short block and a water leak and I only have the car 4 months - what the hell is Ford producing these days?
