The windshield gasket or seal around the bottom of the windshield buckles. The seal is not tight. I have had it replaced at the Ford dealership and it still buckles. As of this moment my Escape is at the dealership again as they are trying to figure out a solution to correctly adhere the seal so that it is tight, not buckled.

I have looked at other 2019 Escapes on the same lot where I bought mine and some of them have seals that fit tightly and some are like mine????? The seals on the 2020 models are made of a hard plastic, not rubber like mine, so there is a solution, change the seal on the 2019's to hard plastic.

Is this seal a big deal? Yes, this is a $30,000.00 vehicle. The service dept. does not think this is a big deal; however, where do they think the water is going as the seal is not tight? They don't know, what the #$@%&*&^#!@$! I will follow up after I pick my car up again today, I assure you they will still not have a solution.

Actually I can fix this issue with an adhesive that seals to glass but, why I should I have to? This is, again I say, a $30,000.00 vehicle.
