The contact owns a 2014 Ford Focus. The contact stated while driving approximately 50 MPH, the wrench symbol warning light illuminated. The contact pulled over and parked the vehicle. The vehicle was turned off and failed to restart. The vehicle was towed to the local dealer where it was diagnosed that there was an internal coolant leak and that the high voltage battery needed to be replaced. The vehicle was not repaired. The manufacturer was contacted and referred the contact to the NHTSA Hotline. The failure mileage was approximately 100,305.
