Huge win for car owners! All TSBs to be made public. The Center for Auto Safety just made the NHTSA (US Government) make public the full text of all TSBs from now on. They are the same organization that has petitioned the NHTSA & filed lawsuits to protect car owners over exploding gas tanks & other major safety issues. Whenever you drive in your car, you are safer thanks in part to a lot of work over the years by this small but very effective consumer advocacy group.

Please take a moment & say thank you by donating $5 or whatever you can to the Center for Auto Safety.

Takata recall: After being notified by Honda only in early 2016 regarding the defective airbags in our vehicle, Honda has provided zero efforts in remedying the situation. Honda has yet to receive parts to replace our airbags (and did not even place an order for them until we reached out to them) and has failed to offer a loaner vehicle despite the serious "injury or death" that may be caused by our continued use of our vehicle. Also upsetting and frustrating is the fact that we have not even received a response after alerting our local Honda dealership manager (jaime arreola at Honda keyes woodland hills) that we have an upcoming cross-country road trip that we must take for business. Our numerous follow-up calls to determine the status of the airbag replacement parts have also gone unanswered / unreturned.

Takata recall 4-4-2016 put on list to have recall done when parts are available. This is a major safety recall. How long do I have to wait" at some point will the manufacture be required to buy back my car" 5 months is to long to wait on a recall like this.

In March of 2016, I received a recall notice to repair the driver side airbag of my CRV. I was told that I would get notice when parts came in. In July of 2016 I received notice that the passenger side airbag would need repair. I called Honda customer service a few weeks ago and they were going to contact me. So far, no call back and no repairs.do I need to get into a front end accident, with injuries, to get these repaired. I like this car but do not want to drive it anymore until these recalls are completed.

Takata recall; american Honda is not responding to calls made to american Honda customer service numbers provided in their recall notice. The electronic response is that "all of our agents are currently busy", and waiting on the phone for over 30 minutes does not change the response. I have already filed a hardship case requesting a loaner vehicle, and despite an earlier promise of a response, nothing has happened.
