Huge win for car owners! All TSBs to be made public. The Center for Auto Safety just made the NHTSA (US Government) make public the full text of all TSBs from now on. They are the same organization that has petitioned the NHTSA & filed lawsuits to protect car owners over exploding gas tanks & other major safety issues. Whenever you drive in your car, you are safer thanks in part to a lot of work over the years by this small but very effective consumer advocacy group.

Please take a moment & say thank you by donating $5 or whatever you can to the Center for Auto Safety.

I brought this Car from a second hand dealer on November of 2013 and from that day it had issues from the radiator at that time. And just today 02/14/2012 I took the car to Pep-Boys for an alternator issue they happen to find that it had another issue on top of that. They had diagnosis it as the intake manifold and that it will cost me a total of $998.45 to have all this repaired - 2001 Altima - The part had to be order from out of state. They reported that this was a common problem with the model and year of the car. They would need to replace the intake manifold gasket at a total cost of $825.32 on top of the alternator with is about $169.00.

A subsequent search of the internet found that this was indeed a common problem with Nissan not taking any responsibility for
