These vehicles can suddenly become impossible to start thanks to a faulty electronic steering column lock (ESCL). Nissan dealers will gladly replace it, but that will run you $1000.

I called the dealership about the problem and, of course, they want to see it. They have no idea what it might be but don't mind charging for diagnostics to determine the problem. I'll never buy another Nissan!!!
