This isn't a huge deal but can be problem in future. The spoiler is designed terribly. the corners don't have bolt on tabs. it uses double sided tape that doesn't stick to car but when spoiler lifts up...it traps leaves and debris that will cause the paint to prematurely fail. The dealer has put on 2 new spoilers and the problems continues even with adhesive promoter. I am in the process of trying to get the dealer to replace the spoiler with an upgraded Nismo spoiler which does not use double sided tape. Nissan told me too bad...it is supposed to do that. My dealer does not agree with those findings. I am hoping my dealer takes it upon themselves to upgrade the spoiler on their own since Nissan will not even acknowledge that they even make an upgrade spoiler but it is clearly listed on their website....outrageous!!!! The poor service and mistruths I have been dealt by Nissan are many. Not to mention having problems with both of the loaner cars that they gave me...both only having 4k miles or less. Had to wait 5 days for a loaner because their service bays were full of transmission jobs. That is their words...Good to see what we have to look forward to. We try not to be picky people but Nissan really dropped the ball with this one. BUYER BEWARE!!!!!
Update from Nov 22, 2011: after almost 5 full months and nissan keeping my car for 31 continuous days.....i finally got to meet with a nissan rep that agreed things arent right and without hesitation offered to put the upgraded spoiler on my car at no cost. I am happy with the decision but nissan wasted alot of man hours and parts and my time trying to remedy a problem that is unfixable. They should have just acknowledged the prob in first place instead of pushing the problem away. We will never buy nissan again or buy from victory nissan in knoxville.
