A D V E R T I S E M E N T S

For the past YEAR while I was deep in factory warranty, I have been having an issue with either the back-up camera itself, the wiring harness, or the radio itself (I don't know which). But for whatever the reason, the display on my radio will "intermittently mind you" will turn dark grey and flip the screen. Now I have taken the car to the dealership MULTIPLE TIMES. But by the time I get there, it's working again and the service manager tells me that "There is nothing I can do without seeing it for my self." Nevermind the fact I had already shown him pictures of the display since I cannot make it work incorrectly on command. But still he claimed to have to see it in person.

A few months go by and now it's discoloring this time (this is new). I rush to the dealership In hopes that the manager will see it. I pull up and lay on my horn so that someone would see me and come out...lol. One hand on the horn and the other out the window waving for them to come to me. Yes!! he finally seen it and it going to be fixed!!! So I thought...

Now mind you, like I said, this has been going on for the better part of a year. I have complained about the issue, I have shown him pictures, and now he has finally seen it...

I'm sitting in the car, he calls for a tech to come. So now not only has the manager has seen it, now the tech has seen it too...

Now, while the car is in reverse, the manager and the tech are behind the car with the door up, the manager pounds on the top of the door and the camera display returns to work fine.

I leave the car at the dealership under the assumption that it will finally be fixed...

Three days later, I receive a call from them, telling me that they not only know there is an issue, but since the car will not reproduce the display, they will not fix it because if they replace the camera and it's not that, then chances are someone (me) will have to pay the difference of what was done and what will need to be done.

So, now I am no better off..........
