OK now! Here I go again! I took this piece of junk to my mechanic two weeks ago, as I'd left home went about 3 miles and it started to skip and act like it was stopped up. So he checked it out and decided it was the catalytic converter, OK, I paid out to get it fixed. I've driven it for about 70 miles since, no problem, or so I thought.

So I decided to get away for awhile and just go eat fish for lunch for a treat to myself for a change! OK By the time I got where I was going, about 17 miles from home, it seemed like as I slowed down to stop the car was idling low, OK not heating or anything, so I thought. OK, I got a piece of trash or something like that. Cut it off, ate lunch and went back out to start car up, well it started, but was running rough even sitting still. OK I thought, I'll just get it home and take to mechanic Monday as no lights were on, no big problems, maybe even if lucky it would only be bad gas! Ha! Ha! About 5 miles up the road and 7 more to go, the service engine light started to flash! Every time I came to a stupid light, it'd idle really rough. OK I thought, now something is really wrong!

I've sat there and thought of everything it might be and just got more and more disgusted with Pontiac! Let's see now: not catalytic converter, just replaced that! Obviously not a bad gas thing! Spark plugs?,plug wires?, distributor cap?, rotor button? Oh, I know, maybe it's the ignition coil?, or maybe it's the Mass Air Flow Sensor?, or is it the fuel injectors or maybe the intake leaks?????

OK, I'm done for, my brain is literally fried! But thoughts not bad for a 68yr old women! I wonder how many of you young guys or gals could come up with all this and, please, seriously if there's anything it might be besides what I've thought of let me know! Or if you think you may really know what's wrong ( besides just being a Pontiac) please let me know! Thanks for letting An old lady let off some steam here, I'm just about at the end of my rope! Literally, I am just tired of dealing with all this mess!
