problem #2

MDX Hybrid

  • Automatic transmission
  • 5,000 miles

A D V E R T I S E M E N T S

I consistently get ~22 mpg during city driving (Approx 5000 miles). I benchmarked results against other MDX hybrids and seen 24-25 mpg. Acura refuses to further look into the issue. Buyers be informed of the potentially low mileage that is possible as observed in my case.

MDX Sport Hybrid 3.0L V6 24 valve

  • Automatic transmission
  • 2,300 miles

Window sticker on 2017 Acura Sport Hybrid claims 27 MPH highway, 26 MPH city.

The average all city driving is 19 to 20 MPH, which is 25% less than the sticker.

The average all highway is better at 24 MPH.

Dealer can't fix it.

The big Acura sales pitch is the yearly savings by using the Acura Hybrid. Totally false.
